Raised in the deep rhythms of Southern Black culture—where Sunday hats were as sharp as the sermons, and silence often protected more than it healed—Raquella began writing stories that pulled back the lace curtains and said what the matriarchs never dared. Her work blends gothic elegance, emotional honesty, and a narrator who knows that sometimes, the most dangerous thing a woman can hold is the truth.

When she’s not weaving scandal into prose, she’s a proud mother, Wife, creative strategist, and lover of vintage perfume, quiet bookstores, and gospel choirs that stir the spirit.
